February 04 Superbowl WeighinIt sucked! I gained 1.4 lbs, but I know why and I know what I have to do to get it off. Tomorrow at the gym gonna work hard and journal, drink that water...cut back on the Diet coke...shame, up to 3 cans a day again. I was so sick last week also. couldn't hold my head up off the pillow. I think I am much better.

By the first day of spring---
I'd be 11 pounds lighter. I'd have a new spring in my step By Easter------ I'd be 15 pounds lighter. I'd be a cuter chick--or bunny By the first day of summer--- I'd be 24 pounds lighter. I'd feel so cool and look SMOKIN HOT!! By the first day of fall---- I'd be 38 pounds lighter. Let the pounds fall!! By Halloween--- I'd be 43 pounds lighter. No more scale scares for me ! By Thanksgiving-- I'd be 46 pounds lighter. I'd have so much to be thankful for! By Christmas--- I'd be 51 pounds lighter. Talk about a Merry Christmas! By New Year's Day--- I'd be 52 pounds lighter. A new year and a new me Something to definately reflect upon! I can't keep up...HELP!!!!! I can't keep up. No, I am not talking about my changing the living healthy, drinking water, exercising and journaling. I am talking about the myspace live space. I feel so overwhelemed. You see, one of the things that I had to change was NOT to be online so much. I just sat here in this chair and did not move. I probably gained 10 lbs just SITTING! Isn't this what made us fat in the first place...EATING and NO EXERCISE? So...I promised myself no more than a few minutes at a time. Look at me I have already been online for 10 min. So here's my
question for you. If you spend all of your time online when do you take care of you?
I can answer it....we are NOT taking care of us. We are taking care of our internet habit. It's just as addictive as eating and are you eating? When you sit at the computer do you find you want to munch while you surf? Anyways, I don't mean to be harsh, I do it to, just trying to cut back but in the meantime it's just overwhelming to keep up with everyone on myspace live. So............if you read my blog and are our friends....this is for you........because I don't have time to visit each site, I wish you luck and I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!

January 17 Checking IN....AliceHello fellow LOSERS! Yes we are on our way down and it feels good. Katie stopped in yesterday and before you knew it, it was time for her to leave. She had a blog but somthing happen. Guess she will blog again later.
We're suppose to use examples of how we help each other....well K was walking through the local grocery and of course you know what's after the produce section...the BAKERY! She calls and we talk till she has completed her walk to the meat and can goods. Why don't they put the bakery in the back of the store? You would get more exercise walking to get that Pecan Roll with the carmel icing and nuts, drizzled in Chocolate. Can you tell I have had it one to many times? Any who...not right now. I will get it when I most desire it.
Katie and I have been working out and doing great. She works out at a different gym than I do and she goes in the morning and afternoon. Me...just the morning. I did however meet with a friend this morning and when I took my son to PT (gym is in same building) I went and met my daughter and her friends and did 30 more min of cardio. Hey gotta get it in when you can. Tomorrow is Pilates class....I am wondering if I will ever be able to lift my tushy off the mat and put my feet over my head, like the instructor does. She has informed me I will in time....LOL.
So tonight for dinner I fixed as I call it.
Three Amigos Chili
1 T olive oil 1 small onion 1 pound ground turkey breast 1 can diced tomatoes with jalapenos 1 can each...garbanzo beans, black beans, and kidney beans, drained and rinsed 1 can (14 oz) low-sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth 1/4 t salt 1/4 t cumin 1/8 t cinnamon 1/8 t cayenne Heat oil on med heat. Add onion and sauté until soft. Add turkey and brown about 5 min. Add tomatoes with juice and add beans (drained and rinsed), broth and spices. Stir and bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20 or more min.
Servings as is: 6 293 Calories 31 protein 32 carbs 5 g fat (0 saturated) 11 g fiber 788 mg sodium
